Each fused glass pendant is signed �Fusion� by the artist & shipped in a decorative bag or box. A small slip with care instructions is also included. Gift boxes are available upon request for all glass jewelry items.
Please note: Prior to or after a sale, if it is requested to change the backs of the earrings (i.e. - From posts to hooks), a $10 service fee will be applied in addition to labor & additional material charges. For IL residents, tax is included on all services rendered.
INCLUDED WITH YOUR ORDER: Included with each pendant order is a choice of an 18� or 16� wire or chain (specified in the description) on which to wear your pendant. Please choose your preference when checking out. If nothing is chosen, a neck wire of our choice will accompany the order.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
All fused glass products are created with only the highest caliber glass materials (Bullseye/Wasser 90 COE fusible glass, CBS & Savoy dichroic glass).
Trouble-shooting:
1. I dropped my pendant and it broke; can it be fixed? The glass can be glued together TEMPORARILY with the E6000 adhesive. It may be possible to create a similar pendant, depending on the glass inventory. Please contact us for further information.
2. Should I swim with my pendant? The pendant should not be worn while swimming in chlorinated water and especially salt water. The adhesive used on the bail can deteriorate very quickly, and your pendant will be lost! Also, if you purchase a piece on which the dichroic is �exposed� meaning not under a clear glass overlay, salt water can also deteriorate the exposed dichroic. The pendant will last a very long time if it is not exposed to the above elements.
3. What happens if the bail comes off? The bails are applied with E6000 adhesive. This is an adhesive that works well adhering glass to other objects. This tube can be found in craft stores such as JoAnn Fabrics, and Michaels. A little goes a long way!
4. What IS �dichroic glass�? �Dichroic� means �two colors� due to the mercurial nature of using precious metals with glass. It is a special crafted glass that reflects and transmits two different colors. Glass is coated & textured thinly using precious metals & earth elements such as gold, copper, silver, titanium, chromium, or aluminum. It is extremely difficult to capture colors exactly and there can be a range of up to 30% from one value to another. Dichroic glass is also difficult to photograph well as the colors tend to change in different light and angles.
